Klassic KKars

***Custom***

We are back with a classic “classic car” sample. These were done with halftones rather than just solid colors to recreate the shinny look of the original. Cars are very detailed and usually cost more than the standard $14 or $18 to recreate.

Kimberly Crest House & Gardens

***Custom***

Here is a photo to vector sample of a beautiful picture of a house reflecting a sunset. The artist uses gradients for shading in various areas to give the feel and look of the original image. The vector image is simpler with less detail for printing purposes, but still manages to capture the essence of the original photograph due to the skillful artist who created it.

Ten Dollar Bill

***Custom***

Here is a very detailed one. The recreation of the front of the $10 bill is not perfect, but it works for printing and design needs. Notice the close attention to detail in the small designs. Some of our designs look good enough to eat, this one looks good enough to spend (almost)!

American Hot Rods

***Custom***

Classic cars are an especially popular subject for screenprinting, and therefore they are very common subjects for vectorizing. The original was created with photoshop effects that cannot be replicated exactly in the vector format. In the vector version you can see how the artist used various color shades and subtle gradients to give a similar effect in the print friendly vector format.

Route 40 Sign

***Hard***

The customer took a picture of a dirty shot-up Route 40 sign and had it vectorized by us. The artist used halftones for the dirty texture, and various shades of color for the bullet holes. Have you ever seen a dirty old sign look so clean?

Mecha Ancient Art

***Custom***

Another interesting and strangely common subject of vectorizing is ancient (or ancient looking) artwork. Any historians out here know what civilization this one would be from? Notice the subtle gradients used to give depth to the middle part of the vector image.

Uncle Sam

***Custom***

Did everyone hear who won the presidential election? The voters have spoken, and Obama has been chosen. 4 more years… till the next election.

Here is a topical sample of an “Uncle Sam” vector redraw. The artist has used different shades of colors to try and replicate the depth of the original oil painting.
