When an image is vector based, it can be sized to any dimension without any compromise to the artwork, as it is not made of pixels but rather of geometrical shapes and lines. Please be aware that you must have the design in the vector format (eps, .ai, .cdr., .svg, etc.) in order to manipulate it. The below image is a jpg which does not support the vector format, but you are able to export vector graphics to high resolution jpegs (any desired size) for various uses.
