In this sketch conversion, the artist used bitmap effects along with the vector image to add most of the shading. Bitmap effects can be used for some printing purposes such as digital printing, but not for silkscreen printing. They can be used to create a “blur” effect that is not available in the vector format, and gives an extra layer to the vector image.
